Volunteer of the year award

Every year since 2007, members of WAHS have chosen a person who has committed extraordinary time, effort and/or financial contributions during that year to WAHS and its mission. The Volunteer of the Year Award is given to members and non-members alike.  The decision is difficult because there are always several very deserving candidates!  Nominations are taken from members.  Voting takes place in October and the award is presented in November at the general membership meeting.  We would like to congratulate all past recipients for their devotion to our organization!

 The WAHS board of directors bestows a Lifetime Achievement Award to recognize the efforts of a special individual(s) who has shone outstanding dedication and distinguished service to the mission of WAHS.  Nominations are open and appreciated by any member of the community.  If you know a person who deserves this honor, please write a LETTER of SUPPORT to nominate them.  Include your NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER and EMAIL and that of the person you are nominating. 

 Letters of nomination and any supporting materials such as documents, photographs or testimonials will become the property of WAHS.
